The Air

Since I was about 3 years old I have been coming to Bananas, sifting through the glittery gowns, perfect hats, and rows on rows of denim.  It’s funny, because as my life in fashion has evolved from a 3 year old fantasy, to now a fashion week prep reality, Bananas has grown with me, and remains the best place to go treasure hunting. Richard, the owner, pays special attention to detail, and its obvious from the leopard print dressing rooms, to the actual pictures of his great grand parents hanging on the walls. There are glass cabinets filled with pins and jewelry, baskets of fur, and boxes of colorful silk scarfs, it’s honestly a dream world. Every time I head to Gloucester, I make special time to go to Bananas. This time, I found what I like to call the perfect $15 dollar outfit. A real leather pencil skirt, and a black cashmere turtleneck, I was a very happy girl. If you ever find yourself on the North Shore, you would be making a mistake not to head to this little piece of heaven. Check out Insta for more BTS pics of the look I bought !

Purple Fuz: Throwing it Back to NYFW14

Here's a throwback of ya girl heading to the HoodbyAir show last season to get everyone pumped for the fashion week madness that is soon to ensue! I wore a vintage fur, Christopher Kane sweater, Asos overalls, Tom Ford sunnies, Proenza clutch...and some attitude ;)

The Last Summer Adventures

"Bear, put something nautical on, we're going sailing."

Where I grew up is probably on of the most beautiful places in the summer, come winter, all the stylish yuppie visitors from around the world leave their oceanside abodes, and you are left with a fishing town that most people have never left...(hence why I moved), but Gloucester Mass is filled with my best friends, my Nana's house in Anisquam, and the picturesque property my parents own in the Dogtown woods. It really is a stunning island. So last weekend, tired of the NYC grime and missing Bear, a.k.a Skye, my BFF of 20 years, I ventured home with a suitcase filled with summer whites and metallics, to have a weekend on the water.
