I’ve had many dreams of this perfect pink tea room, first seeing the images on Tumbler, and needing to know where this heaven on earth was. Today I got to experience a high tea that the hotel recommends you leave 2 hours to complete. Decor is like fashion to me,  in that it encourages the participant to feel the essence of the environment, just like clothes can make you feel a certain way, or make people feel a certain way about you. From the plush soft pink velvet chairs, to the champagne carts with gold leaf accents, The Gallery fell nothing short of a set in Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend. If everyone were wearing silk dresses and elbow length gloves, matched with their favorite diamonds, it would have literally been like stepping into vintage movie heaven. I have so many facets to my personal style, and I feel the same about how I relate to interiors. This room could not be more girly, but in that theres this nostalgic happy feeling of being a big kid. XXXC

It's overcast and I'm feeling nostalgic today in London. I spent the night, and part of the am, dancing to dancehall at a house party in Brixton. Culturally this place is so so inspiring.  London has so many types of people, food, secrets; It's perfect. 

I love these Saint Laurent Leather Leggings for weather like this. During the day it's been about 60 degrees, and at night it goes down to 45-50 degrees, so layering is key!  Leather and something sweet is always a romantic combo. This Topshop light blue lace top worked perfectly for the changing weather. I'm currently heading to Angel, for dinner at a small French restaurant with a British friend I met in NYC a year ago. I love how traveling inspires you to connect with all types of people or friends of friends. xxxC

London Town Was London Bound

Wow; what a month so far!

I made it to the U.K. last night this time staying in Brixton. For those of you who have followed the blog for a while, you would know that my first trip to the UK a few summers ago, was not the easiest. I myself was deciding if my values as a person matched with that of the modeling world, and all signs at that point were pointing to no. Just that internal conflict + constantly being lost in the tube (Tube Mapper the app; get it) made for a trying visit! But I’m back in this beautiful city, with friends and clients, here to explore in a whole new way!  With my trusty Converse ChuckII’s on my feet, I’m going to be exploring this city and Paris for a few weeks. I can’t wait to fall in love with the secrets of these 2 cities, and come back to my beloved NYC with stories to tell! XXXC
