It's in between seasons here in NYC, and dressing for seasonal transition can be a tough one . The beginning of fall is my most beloved time here in the city. You can finally wear pants again, play with layering, and slowly add in once stored away knits. I've been looking for the perfect silk shirt for a while now. In my imagination I'm not sure I saw it being blue, but this Topshop Boutique silk polka-dot shirt ended up being just what I wanted. What's interesting to me about having patterned staples like this shirt, is that they effortlessly make a look seem thought out, especially paired with other contrasting patterns like stripes, or these tortoise Celine Sunnies! xxxC

I'm not sure I could actually ask for more in a long camel coat! A lot of clothing these days had been over complicated, and it feels so nice to go back to the classic basics with a simple staple like this Topshop coat.
